Because I am a florist, everyone always asks, “What is your favorite flower?”. As soon as these beauties come into season I just can’t get enough! The coral peony, to be specific, is my favorite!
A Peony’s prime season is May through June. We do get a few in March and April but they are usually small. Peonies can be single ruffled or double ruffled. The coral peony is a single ruffle peony with a yellow center. In prime season it can open to an amazing 6 inches wide. When it arrives to our workshop it is more of a hot pink color and as it opens it changes to a coral and then a peach color. It is the most amazing flower!
