Meredith + Lauren: Fall Wedding at The Filter Building on White Rock Lake in Dallas

Congratulations to these two lovely brides! We loved planning Meredith and Lauren’s brunch wedding at The Filter Building on White Rock Lake in Dallas.

These two brides envisioned an outdoor autumn ceremony, followed by a lakeside brunch to celebrate their newlywed status. The entire occasion was filled with special touches to make sure their day was personal memorable.

Lauren and Meredith tied the knot underneath our floral arch, decked with lush blooms and eucalyptus; their bridesmaids stood nearby in all-white. We added pops of texture to the ivory and white bouquets, incorporating loose greenery to finish the arrangement. Friends and family looked on with smiles and sunglasses (it was definitely a hot day for a November wedding!).

The brides decided to put a personal spin on the marriage ceremony with something sweet: a honey unity ceremony. Each bride tasted a bit of honey to symbolize that they will feed each other sweetness and sustenance throughout their lives together. Can you imagine anything sweeter than that?

After Meredith and Lauren tied the knot, guests enjoyed an indoor cocktail hour while we flipped the ceremony setup into a lakeside brunch reception. Lush floral garlands lined the tables; tall arrangements added a special touch to the bridal party’s head table. Farm tables and umbrellas set the scene for an elegant garden-inspired brunch, while seated lounge areas and lawn games made sure there was plenty of entertainment for all the guests. Meredith and Lauren’s dogs even made a guest appearance!

As the afternoon drew to a close, guests lined up outside the main entrance with autumn leaves in their hands. The brides made their grand exit under falling leaves, and drove away as happily married newlyweds!

It was our pleasure to plan this LGBTQ wedding, and we were so happy to see Meredith and Lauren walk away from this celebration as a married couple! Special thanks to all the vendors who helped pull all the details together.
