Christa and Jason had a lovely July wedding at The York Manor in the historic Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. This wedding was one for the books, or #oneforthebrooks, as they would say! These two radiated love and respect for each other. It is not often that you can feel the love from the bride and groom, family and friends filling the whole event space…but you could feel it here, and that made the whole wedding even more special and beautiful.
The York Manor was also the spot for the ceremony. The bride used neutral colors of greens, whites and ivories mixed with natural elements, geometric shapes and lots of gold. The florals designed by Darling and Mister were to die for. It turned out amazing! Her dress was a custom Gretchen Dawley design covered in head to toe sequins! There were so many amazing details. The bride and groom both have extremely talented musical siblings which made for some special moments in the ceremony.
All of these formal pictures taken by Gisele and George turned out stunning. What a cool, urban Los Angeles backdrop.
The ceremony room at The York Manor was flipped into the reception while the bride and groom took pictures at Arroyo Seco Park. The guests enjoyed a sunny, mild Los Angeles summer day as they hung out indoors and out with a photobooth, giant jenga and plenty to eat and drink. The tacos by My Taco were super yummy and guests enjoyed cocktails, beer and wine.
A huge thank you to all vendors involved in Christa and Jason’s gorgeous day!
