Perkins Chapel Wedding

Katie and Matthew’s stunning wedding was one for the books! The couple wed this past January at Perkins Chapel. The ceremony was then followed by a beautiful candlelit reception at the Adolphus Hotel.

How gorgeous are these detail shots?! These photos were taken by When it Clicks, and we seriously cannot get over how great the rings look in the picture above!

We went with deep rich jewel tones for this winter wedding. True red roses, light pink roses, royal purples lisianthus, and magenta anemones made up each bouquet. Our groom Matthew donned a single dark pink rose for his boutonnière, while his groomsmen all had a single white rose.

This picture of Katie and her dad is priceless! We love good candid shots of irreplaceable moments.

These colorful bouquets were stunning against the bridesmaids purple gowns, and doesn’t Katie dazzle in her sweetheart neck line dress?

For the ceremony, we had matching bouquets tied on the pews with beautiful royal purple ribbon. We placed two tall floral arrangements on either side of the alter. These floral arrangements were also made up of those rich jewel tones. We added white hydrangea to make those colors pop!

Now, let’s talk about the reception. There is something about candlelight that warms and cozies up a room, and we love the effect candles have at a reception! So, we paired candles of varying heights with mini bouquets on each of the tables.
