A Note to “A Stylish Soriee” Brides from Rhonda…
Remember this is YOUR day, there are no wrong decisions but you must keep it simple!
Planning is key of course, but when it comes to choosing a gown, you really need to hit the retail locations earlier than you think, that should be the first thing you do…of course once you have your soul mate to marry and the wedding date set!
Advice on Gowns for the Bride To Be!
1. Wedding Ceremony Venue Dictates Your Dress: Choose your gown to match your wedding location. Buck tradition and wear what you want to wear! Change into something sassy later!
2. Traditional white is beautiful! When choosing white; choose the right color of white for your skin tone. There are many shades of white; is your skin tone cool or warm?
3. Traditional white or off-white is appropriate, but this is the fashion season for personal choice with decisions that reflect your personality.
Rule Breakers: You don’t have to wear white!
Trends in 2015-2016 bridal gowns are showing hues of blush tones in all designer collections. Also, light soft metallic tones in silver, gold, and gun-metals were extremely important from fashion designer forecasting. Light blush-flesh tone nudes, petal pink and baby blue metallic sequin embellishments were hot on the runways.

4.Other Gown Color Options:
Untraditional gowns are all the rage; metallic tones, full on lace, sequin embellishment, beaded trims, elegant adornment, turn of the century shapes, jump-suits, pants-suits, robe jackets and skin bearing shoulders.
We have seen it all on the runways, translating it to your style is the key!

5. Style & Shape of Your Gown: Keep an open mind to the shape of your gown. Take the time to try on a few different style options before you try on the one shape of gown that you had your heart set on! This isn’t to confuse you, it is to convince you!
Rule Breakers: You don’t have to have a long gown!
