DFW Wedding Planners | A Stylish Soiree
We’re excited to reveal Natalie and John’s big day, a beautiful spring wedding we’ll never forget. Though inclement weather threatened to change our plans, we still managed to get away with the outdoor ceremony Natalie and John dreamed of. Our forecast and radar predicted thunderstorms and hail all day long (luckily, as experienced DFW Wedding Planners, we definitely had a backup plan!)… but the weather miraculously held off just long enough for this couple to tie the knot!
Believe it or not, we actually went through the same scenario on Addie and Michael’s big day at The Dallas Arboretum. Scary forecasts threatened to thwart their outdoor ceremony, but the clouds cleared for half an hour so the happy couple could say “I do.” The weird part? Their wedding was also on April 29! The exact same date as Natalie and John’s inclement weather wedding day. Clearly both of these couples had luck on their side… they both managed to walk down the aisle without a drop of rain (at least until guests were safely indoors for the reception!).
We brought the bride’s pretty pink color palette to life with lush springtime blooms, including a ceremony arch statement piece. It set the stage for Natalie and John’s outdoor vows, creating a beautiful focal point at the top of the venue’s stairs. We love the couple’s added detail: a “cord of three strands” woven together during the ceremony.
Natalie and John put a lot of thought into the personalized touches for their wedding day… from heartfelt notes exchanged between the bride and groom, to custom koozies and fun groom’s socks. Every detail was a nod to the couple’s unique love story. Guests are sure to remember this one for years to come!
Take a look at these images from the big day (captured by David Cheney Photography) to catch a glimpse of Natalie and John’s love story. And don’t forget to scroll all the way down to see their wedding video from Lynn Films! Cheers to the happy couple!
